Analysis of ‘Mean Girls'
The Canteen Scene
the main protagonist is Kady Heron who moves from Africa to America and meets 'The Plastics'
In this scene their costumes help define the characters themselves

Regina- Long blonde hair she also has stylish clothing along side a R necklace. However with Kady she has tied back ginger hair a creased faded blue shirt.
Regina leans in closer to show a sign of dominance.
There is also three girls against Kady which almost makes her seem to be the prey.

After Karen and Gretchen tell Regina she can't sit with them:
They are equality sat on the table which shows equalitity
Regina's style has very much changed as her hair is now messy and tied up into a pony tail and her clothes are dull showing that she doesnt care whereas Kady is more glammed up which makes it seem like Regina and Kady have switched places which also shows once Karen and Gretchen shout at Regina because she looks to Kady for support.
The props within the scenes change as Regina at the start has a smaller 'healthier' lunch whereas it seems Kady doesn't however later on when the roles change Kady has a smaller 'healthier' lunch and Regina has a fattier lunch such as crisps, cookies, full fat coke ect.
